No two events are ever the same so there is no set pricing to our event production work.
We can offer a complete event production service or just one piece of the production whether it be sound, lighting, visual, stage equipment or simply operation only.
Lightwaves Hire have a wide range of sound equipment available for your events. Included in the range are full range speaker cabinets, subwoofers, microphones, mixers, Playback and interconnecting equipment.
Lightwaves Hire have a portable stage system which is suitable for Indoor/ Marquee/ Tipi use and can create a stage platform from 2 metres x 1 metre up to a maximum of 6 metres wide x 4 metres deep, along with backdrop and masking drapes this can be used for a Cabaret, Presentation, Conference or Wedding events. We can also offer a range of other event equipment such as a lectern and autocue where required.
Lightwaves Hire have a comprehensive stock of high quality lighting – everything from traditional halogen theatre style lighting to intelligent DMX lighting including moving heads and LED fixtures as well as control equipment to ensure the whole event is fully controlled and kept to a high standard.

Visual Aids
Lightwaves Hire stock a selection of visual aid products suitable for your event. From a small TV/Monitor screen to a large format projection screen along with a range of projection equipment and control equipment ensuring the visual part of your event is to a high standard, essential for that meeting, presentation event or conference. With a range of screens and projectors available our Visual aids equipment hire can show those pictures and videos or even those Pie charts with clarity and in glorious colour.
Special Effects
For that extra sparkle to your event, Lightwaves Hire are able to offer you some special effects too! Large or small mirror ball effects, Ultra Violet (UV) lights, snow machines, smoke and haze machines, bubble machines and low lying fog (dry ice effects) are just some of the possibilities that we are able to offer to your event. From a simple theatre smoke effect through to “Dancing on Clouds” for a wedding first dance or even a snow shower our special effects equipment can turn a stage or room into a fantasy landscape.
Event Technical Staffing
All our technical staff have many years of experience in creating all styles of event and have the relevant skills in electrical work, rigging, sound operation and lighting design. Crew pricing is subject to your requirements plus travel expenses.
